The purpose of this blog is for me to record my thoughts and experiences in a simple format that can be shared with family and friends.
I intent for the blog to be autobiographical, to record both current and historical events, and will rely on the blogger "schedule" date for the sequence. However, due to a Blogger limitation the earliest date that a post can be scheduled for January 1, 1970. Trust me, my experiences predate this.
I'll also include posts on a wide range of topics that I find interesting, including motorcycles, books, computers, cooking, spirituality and what ever else crosses my mind. The eclectic nature of this blog means you are likely to find posts that both baffle as well as entertain you; take what you like and ignore the rest.
In order to add some form of order to the blog, I'll use labels for the different topics so that post can be filtered as desired. The convention for my labels is that those displayed in all capital letters, such as ADMIN, will be for a broad topic, and those in mixed or lower case letters will be for more derivative topics.
Finally, I don't know how frequent this blog will be updated - and because of historical posts much activity will occur in the "older sections" of the blog - but so long as the blog is public it will continue to be a work in progress.
